In
order to promote a community atmosphere,
the Mariners Landing Townhome Association's
Board of Directors adopted these parking
guidelines in 1996.
The Board
will assign two parking spaces per unit.
Assignments will be made in an attempt
to have at least one parking space in
front of each unit. Spaces will be marked.
Parking plans will be issued to each house
and posted on the bulletin boards. The
assigned spaces may be used by members
to park their own vehicles or they may
reserve them for their guests. Trading,
switching, or allowing use of a space
by a neighbor may be done, if both
parties agree to the change. These agreements
can be revoked or modified by the original
"owner" of the space only after
giving reasonable notice to the other.
Guest or
visitor parking is restricted to designated
areas or properly assigned spaces.
Signs will inform guest and visitors at
each entrance.
Enforcement
of this policy will be accomplished primarily
through a "considerate neighbor"
principle. Each homeowner may use
only their assigned spaces or guest parking.
If a vehicle is parked in an assigned
space that is not theirs, the "space
owner" should remind the violator
of the parking guidelines. Remember, we
are neighbors and should treat each other
with respect.
No parking
space may be used for the storage of a
vehicle.
Repeated
violations should be reported in writing
to the Management Company or to the
Board of Directors. Documentation of the
violations must accompany your complaint
(date, time, what remedy you tried). The
Board will then get involved. First a
written notice will be issued. Upon second
notice, or infraction exceeding 72 hours,
a fine will be imposed.
